The joint Task Force Digital Teaching of bologna.lab and the Computer- und Medienservice supports you in  the task of translating the requirements of research, teaching and studies into online formats. This overview page summarizes practical recommendations for the implementation of courses using digital tools and is constantly updated and expanded. Humboldt Award for Excellence in Teaching 2021 - Call for Nominations

The call for nominations for the Humboldt Award for Excellence in Teaching is currently running. This time the award will be granted to lecturers or institutions bridging the divide between online and classroom teaching. The committee is looking for lecturers and courses that managed to use the potentials of digital formats to help students to manage the change between digital learning and face-to-face classes. Nominees and nominated coures should have successfully managed to motivate active participation and enagement in online settings throughout the semester.

After a preliminary selection process the award will be granted by a jury composed of representatives from faculties, institutes, and student bodies. The award is endowed with prize money of 10.000 EUR.

All members of the HU Berlin are eligible to nominate candidates and courses that were either taught during the winter term 2020/21, the summer term 2021 or that are currently taught during the winter term 2021/22. Please, use the online form. The deadline for nominations is February 2nd, 2021.
